Screen Shots of my latest 3D Animation

Here's a few ScreenShots of my 3D Animation:

First Screenshot is of the few first basic models I have produced for the scene.

Here is a quick rendered image of the beginning of the wieght room by itself, with raytraced mirrors, and no lighting effects.

Here is a rendered image of the wieghtroom overlooking into the pool area. Lighting is used.

Here is a rendered image of the pool area looking back into the weight room, textured water, and lighting is used.

Week 9, 3D Animation, Tim Prata

The above is a glow worm and a lamp interacting, The lamp's light goes out, he spits it out, and realizes that there is something glowing on the ground, a glowworm. He jumps over to it to put the glow worm into his socket to have a new light.

Here is my quick walk cycle of a speedskater.

Revised 3D Midterm (no audio...yet)

Here is my second draft of my 3D Animation Midterm.

3D Animation Midterm

This video is pretty self-explanatory when watching the introduction (or at least I hope it is!) However, The video was assigned for a two week Midterm project by Mike McCarthy for the first level of 3D Animation.

The Animation is a Ghoulish Zombie in a doctor's waiting room, waiting for his turn to go in and see the doctor. The setting is supposed to be a pretty dark waiting room, almost a "Hell-ish" waiting room. Once I have more time to play with the lights, texture the walls better as well as the floor, I feel as though it should pick up the animation greatly.

First Unwrap and Texture Job... Ever

So I've never Unwrapped a model before, and I have only had maybe ... 15 minutes in a class to be shown how to do one, so I spent my entire Sunday teaching myself how to unwrap, and well... This is what I came up with, I have some things to learn, like: Using the whole 512x512 to completely get all the detail I want into a model, and.... I don't know, whatever else people tell me I should do for unwrapping. Any comments would be awesome!

3D Walk Cycles

The above is my very first attempt at a 3D Walk cycle, I promise you I have gotten better.

This is my second attempt at a walk cycle, clear improvements, feet gripping the ground a little bit more, and some good flow.

This video is my most recent walk cycle, and it is a run cycle, it's also from 2 weeks ago. I have been modeling, texturing and animating for my midterm which should be posted upon completion.

Some 3D Homework

This video above is a quick, unrendered, version of a room being destroyed by a bouncing ball.

The video above is a rendered video of a snake in the forest, who finds the last lone apple hanging on a tree branch.

I'd just like to point out that these are my first animations in 3D, if i had more time to texture, render, and model things more than just one week, as well as handling 4 other classes, these would be remarkably better, but for the time being, I am proud of these.

Ghoul Breathing

My very first attempt to make a character breathe ... I didn't know how to actually do it, but I messed around a bit and this is what I came up with.

Some 3D Animation Rough Drafts

These are screen shots of my "waiting room" where my ghoul/zombie character will be waiting for the 3D Animation Midterm of a "performance." There are no Textures fully added, just a few textures added by messing around. I have a lot more to go before I am fully satisfied.

This character is roughly 1100 polygons, supposed to be a zombie/ghoul kind of character, no textures finalized yet. Here is the Character sheet I had drawn up for the Model I had created in 3D. I had a lot to do, and still have a lot more to go.

First 3D animation

Here's my first assignment for 3D animation .... a race between three objects made out of primitive objects (such as tubes, boxes, cylinders, spheres, etc). This is all included with an Intro and an outro. Let me know your feed back!

Finals for Character Design

The finals here for character design I attempted to go with a style that isn't my own, I wanted to show that I can draw in styles that do not restrict me to one type, however, all 4 needed to be in the same style, therefore I drew them all in just one specific style. I wanted to show extreme line weight which I have seen in shows like Samurai Jack, Dexter's Lab, and cartoons of the like.

3D room in progress, 3D portrait in progress

Here are some of the screens I have of the 3D model of myself portrait wearing my rugby uniform. Hopefuly this is going as well as I hoped, but I can nit pick the things I want to be better, but that's just me.

So here are some final screens before i complete my 3D model of my hair salon.

3D model of my room in Progress

So, I am working on my 3D model of my room, hopefully I can complete it all on time and in a timely fashion. This is one screen shot of my room. Tell me any critiques please.

Some Backgrounds I've done.

These backgrounds are apart of the background layout design course I'm taking. There is still one background shot I have yet to complete (the pan shot), but these are about 95% done. A story about someone who runs through the desert, to a dungeon, presses a button, then Armageddon ensures. Enjoy.

Some Backgrounds I'm working on.

The last bits of my backgrounds thus far.

Sunset?

So, I actually wanted to try to make an attempt at a sunset. It didn't take too much time, but it's a first attempt.

Some older art

So This is my Final project for my Fall '08 Life Drawing classIt is all done here in the steps I took to make it. Starting off with the general area and the general body structure of how I wanted to have it.

Starting to add in some of the lightest high lights and the darkest shadows.

Adding some shadows and some actual detail, not quite refined yet.

And the work that I had come up with after the final was done all while in class. It was done a 33'' by 20'' litely toned paper, with charcoal.

Some character designs I've done.

These are for my Character design class. I'm pretty happy with how they are coming out, but always up for some good feedback!

So they are all self explanatory since they have names, except for the bottom two. The bottom two go together. The first one being a woman is Grendel's Mother from the epic tale of Beowulf, and the second being my version of Grendel.
